Chro•Ma Artist Spotlight: Michael Coppage

Michael Coppage, originally from Chicago, is a Cincinnati based artist working primarily as a portrait painter. His work often serves as a social commentary addressing sensitive subjects like mental illness, race relations and waste and consumption. Most recently Coppage has been working on a series of portraits that highlight people who have made some significant impact on him. Coppage has created work on three continents and has been featured in multiple solo and group exhibitions, print and media outlets as well as art publications.
