Wednesday Workshop: Venture Investing- Is Venture Capital/Angel Investing Right for My Business?

This workshop will provide an introduction to early stage/angel investing and venture capital investing.  Business leaders will explore the motivations of early stage investors and venture capitalists as well as what they look for in companies they are considering for investment.  Discussion will explore the pros & cons of accessing different types of early stage capital in your business growth strategy, and attendees will leave understanding if this method of funding is right for them.

The workshop is geared towards women-identifying business professionals and entrepreneurs who are looking to build better knowledge around investing when considering different strategies to support and sustain new or growing business endeavors.  Join the Wednesday Workshop, a series devoted to relevant and strategic topics that enhance professional development and organizational leadership within women-owned businesses and entrepreneurs.  This event is FREE and part of 1628 LTD’s Women Empowered program.  WE unites leaders in business through education and community.
